into the beyond

I didn’t really expect this OBE though it was indeed very welcome. I woke up already out-of-body, such a moment of joy that instant of awakening. I shot up through a kind of tunnel into a beautiful night sky full of stars too incredible for words. I flew very fast letting go of all the stresses life on Earth sometimes brings, I felt light and free. There was a man with me too he was familier but now I don’t remember what we said to each other.
Experiencing out-of-body experiences inevitably leads you on to questions about the so called ‘afterlife’, once you experience yourself independent of your physical body you realise that consciousness does continue after death, we understand through personal experience that consciousness can indeed exist without the physical body.

This morning I had my first astral projection for a while, I haven’t been focusing on it as I had a lot going on in the physical, still a lot going on but it’s the summer holidays so I have more time.

Another OBE this morning using isochronic tones in theta, the memory of this astral projection is a bit fuzzy probably due to the fact that I had a headache and found it difficult to focus. Despite the headache I managed to relax enough in order to have an OBE while listening to the tones.

Astral projection at times doesn’t seem very consistent, sometimes I get out every night other times I go longer periods without one, probably due to my own physical/mental condition after all we all have busy lives and these lives can be stressful. However if I haven’t had an out-of-body experience for a while it comes to the point when I have to have one.

Extremely active morning as far as dreaming and OBE’ing are concerned. One of the first dreams I remember is flying in the garden, the garden was full of beautiful coloured cushions and we were flying and jumping from one to the other, very enjoyable.
This astral projection started off so well but ended a bit yucky. I flew through a window into the astral fully aware, the scene outside the window was wonderful, deep green valleys, perfect for flying in and de-stressing after Christmas. I could hear music, an Italian song, ‘Come Un Pittore’ such a great song and so good to fly along deep green valleys to.

This morning I simply had to have an OBE, I woke up at a perfect time to try, I looked at the clock and it was 4.44. So I did a loo trip, back to bed and focused on my intention to leave my body. I repeated ‘Now I am Out-of-Body’ I was soon sinking down into sleep I focused on keeping my mind awake. I don’t really know how long it took, but I was soon aware of having someone next to me in bed talking to me, I was actually physically sleeping alone so it wasn’t some sort of reflection of my husband asleep next to me.
Astral projection in theory is not difficult in itself, as easy as staying awake when falling asleep, sounds simple doesn’t it? However, it can take practise. Just lay in bed and keep your mind awake while you fall asleep. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve tried this technique but have been too tired to hang on to my mind, sometimes I manage it sometimes I don’t. After all, sinking down into sleep is such a pleasant sensation when it’s cold outside and the bed is just so warm and cosy.

Early this morning I was just falling asleep again after waking up, there was an image of a man in front of me, asking me what I was doing, it was as if he was right in front of my face but in miniature. I focused on him and said I was trying to stay conscious while my body fell asleep. As I sunk down the man disappeared and I realised I was in the mind awake/body asleep state. When I find myself in this state I usually do something before I can leave my body, I don’t know how to describe it, it’s like using a muscle; I don’t know the workings behind the action of deciding to move my arm but I do it anyway. I give myself a kind of energy buzz and at that point I can get up out of my body.
